What is Educating the Next Generation?

Educating The Next Generation program brings the truth about mental illness to middle and high school students using trained parent volunteers to teach a one-hour class about mental illness. This is followed by a second class featuring an In Our Own Voice presentation. Students complete pre/post tests to measure change in their understanding of mental illness and reduction of stereotypes associated with mental illness.
